He said therefore, What is the kingdom of God like? And to what should I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in the garden; it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches. –Luke 13:18-19, NRSV
WELCOMING HEARTS
Providence United Methodist Church is located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Patrick Springs, Virginia. We serve as the Lord's hands and feet in our community through service, prayer, and love. Every day we humbly strive to represent the spirit of Jesus Christ in towards our families, neighbors, and beyond.
Are you looking for warm, welcoming hearts? Smiles? A gentle hug? Or are you seeking Christ?
Whatever your needs may be, come join us.
In the true spirit of Appalachia, you'll find us easily—just turn beside the post office, go about 1/4 mile and you'll see us. We're the church with the big red doors and the big hearts.
We look forward to meeting you.
